Before moving to the frontlines of the LGBT community and rising to stardom, actress and model Jenny Shimizu worked as a mechanic. She then kick-started her career as a model for big brands such as the Banana Republic, Prada, and Calvin Klein. Outside of modeling, Shimizu earned acting credits from films such as Itty Bitty TItty Committee and Foxfire. She also appeared in some television shows like America’s Next Top Model, Make Me a Supermodel, and Dante’s Cove.
