THE UNEXPECTED FALL

Every athlete has experienced a moment of fall at some point in their career. Some of these falls are spectacular and unexpected enough to be captured in photographs. A cyclist who falls off his bike in the middle of a race or a soccer player who slips at the crucial moment.

At first we thought it might be a ballet dance, but it wasn’t. But instead of turning and gliding gracefully across the stage, they now found themselves in the middle of a green meadow, with only a soccer ball between them and the opponent’s goal.
