Some angles don’t look very flattering. The athlete had just completed a pole vault and was on the mat when a photographer decided to capture the moment. Unfortunately, it’s not a very flattering image for the athlete. We’re sure there are better pictures of her in action, jumping over high hurdles and maybe even setting a record!

This stunning woman is a former Russian pole vaulter, three-time world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist. She is without a doubt considered one of the greatest pole vaulters of all time. We really love this photo because it perfectly shows that even great characters can fall sometimes.
