THE UNEXPECTED SPRAY

Water sports often provide opportunities for surprising and unwanted water fountains. A rower suddenly being hit by a wave or a swimmer jumping into the pool causing a huge splash can make for the perfect snapshot.

Synchronized swimmers are similar to gymnasts in that they also always have to smile. This attitude is very important. We’re not belittling the hard work and dedication of these two swimmers, but it seemed like they had been to the depths of the ocean and then crawled out. It goes without saying that this image might frighten some people.
